White Rabbit

White Rabbit - Stream It All

There is a certain paradox related to the Internet that still puzzles me. It might seem that with a speed connection sufficient to deliver high-quality video streams it should have significantly increased my ability to watch movies, TV-shows, and series I like. Meanwhile, I still haven't found any legitimate service that would provide me with the wide selection of media content I'm used to. Well, except torrents.
In fact, this is a real problem. Services like Netflix were supposed to facilitate this link between the producers of media content and its consumers, but due to the specifics of this field, subscription-based streaming providers don't make a profit. In fact, Netflix, in order to show some profit, now produces its own content getting in direct competition with media producers. The situation now is that an average Internet user in order to get access to all the media-content that might interest her, needs to either subscribe to a dozen separate streaming services, paying a pile of money, or to subscribe to some major streaming provider like Netflix and accept the fact that her choice will be limited by Netflix's selection. On top of that, to complicate the situation even further, there are regional restrictions. It's no surprise that people just prefer to use torrents. At least it's simpler.
White Rabbit is a service created by Allan R. Milligan - a veteran of the media industry and award-winning film producer, and Hengameh Panahi whose films won many prestigious awards at film festivals, including Oscars and Golden Palms. The platform is going to consolidate access for the end user to all the numerous media-content providers through a single subscription. For the Internet user, it will look like a simple browser plug-in, powerful enough to provide access to any streaming service, including independent filmmaking and media companies, or literally any provider of media content. All the content available via the platform is organized through the "Rabbit Hole" - a user's library that in addition to providing the highest quality version of the streamed content, also has other interesting features like offering access to film extras and promoting interaction between fans and filmmakers through forums, VR and AR screenings etc. The platform's architecture based on blockchain and smart contracts facilitates direct payments from the user to the filmmaker or media company and guarantees reliability and transparency of transactions. In short, White Rabbit offers a business model, that is capable to eventually establish the bridge between the media producers and consumers and be profitable at the same time.

Choice, price and convenience
The system uses WRT (White Rabbit Token) - the ERC20-compatible token for the transactions within the platform. Starting from November 2017, 40% of WRT tokens are available for sale. The company is expecting to attract from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 in investments that will be used to improve and expand its ecosystem.
